Living a few streets back from the surf is the dream, but the salt air is hard on equipment. Heat pumps mounted out in the open in Manly, Freshwater or Curl Curl corrode years faster than the same unit installed inland, so we spec corrosion-resistant systems and position them to last.

Most Northern Beaches pools are family pools that go quiet by April. A correctly sized heat pump buys back autumn and spring, and holds a comfortable temperature right through winter if you want it to. We mostly fit the Austek Enviro range because it is efficient and built for Australian conditions, and we also install Madimack and Pure Blue depending on your pool and budget.

We are based on the Beaches, so installs, servicing and the odd repair are quick to sort, even on units we did not put in. When you call, you get Dan, not a call centre.

Will a heat pump survive the salt air in Manly or Freshwater?

It will if it is the right unit, installed properly. Coastal pools within a few hundred metres of the surf cop a constant salt load that corrodes standard casings and fittings early. We fit corrosion-resistant models near the water and position them to limit exposure, which is the single biggest factor in how long a coastal install lasts.

Do you install all the way up to Palm Beach and Avalon?

Yes. We cover the full peninsula, from Manly and Freshwater through Dee Why, Narrabeen and Mona Vale, right up to Newport, Avalon and Palm Beach. Being local means we can get back for servicing without a half-day drive.

Can you service a heat pump I already have?

We can. We repair and service all the major brands across the Northern Beaches, including units we did not install. If yours has stopped heating or is running noisily, book an assessment and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing or replacing.

My pool backs onto a neighbour, will the heat pump be noisy?

Modern heat pumps are much quieter than older models, and on tight Freshwater or Curl Curl blocks we position the unit and choose a model to keep noise down near living areas and fences. We will talk through placement at the on-site assessment.

How much does it cost?
